Salimgarh Fort

Salimgarh Fort is located on the bank of the Yamuna River just back of the red fort. This was constructed in 1546 by Salim Shah Suri which was son of Sher Shah Suri. Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb used it to prison purpose. Now India government it converted in a Museum as Swatantrata Senani Smarak.
